Anisgul is 12 years old and her mother Saïró has been attending Violence Against Women workshops run by Afghan women’s organisation, WASSA. ‘I collect water from the canal three times a day’, says Anisgul. ‘It’s very heavy to carry and it makes my back hurt but I have to because there’s no one else to do it.’
