Sandy, five, with her sister and cousin on their front porch. The prefabricated housing at Richmond Village was brought over from the Suez in the 1950s and its roofs are made of asbestos. The British had begun demolishing them in 2000, but then decided to house the unrecognised refugees here temporarily.
